WATERFORD CODE

The following code applies to all School activities. “Waterford Code Event” on an invitation to a non-School event designates that the guidelines will be strictly followed.

No alcohol is served or used. No other drugs are available or used. No cigarettes are smoked.

Notice of upcoming activities is distributed to students and their parents at least two weeks prior to the event. This includes the names of those who are hosting the event, address and phone number, the type of activity; the cost, if any; and a reminder for RSVP deadline.
There is one adult chaperone for every 15 students, with a minimum of two chaperones present.
All activities end before midnight.
RSVP’s should have a final date at least one week prior to the activity.
Activities may have a small charge ($1.00-$3.00) to cover expenses. Student pays upon entry to the activity.
Student and parents have the responsibility to arrange for transportation to and from the activity.
If the hosts permit, a student may bring one non-Waterford guest, provided the guest adheres to the Waterford Code.
