In general, parents with concerns should talk to the adult most directly involved with their children. Usually this will be the Lower School Homeroom Teacher or, in MS/US, the teacher of the course or the Homeroom Teacher. If this conversation is not satisfactory, the parent moves up the ladder; in Lower School, contact the Lower School Director and in MS/US, speak to the Class Dean (or if the matter is of general concern, the Middle or Upper School Dean of Students). If these steps do not improve the situation for the student or if the need is of a severe nature, the Head of School should be contacted directly.
Parents should be reassured that their concerns are addressed by the adult most involved; if appropriate, information will be shared with other teachers and administrators who work closely with the child involved.
