PARENT GATHERING INSTRUCTIONS

Lower Schools

Lower Schools Parent Gatherings take place before and after Class Assemblies and are held in the Foyer of the new LowerSchool building. They are under the direction of Class Representatives and the Class Representative Coordinator.

The Class Representative
Brings (or assigns) refreshments and paper goods
Arrange the refreshments table in an inviting way
Acts as host/hostess
Take care of clean up
Middle/Upper School

Middle/Upper School Parent Gatherings take place immediately following concerts in the Concert Hall and are held in the foyer. Maintenance will set up tables in the lobby, and caterer will deliver the food directly to the foyer. Details are under the direction of the Parents Gathering Coordinator, who will arrange for volunteers to:

Act as hosts/hostesses, mingling, making others feel comfortable and introducing parents to each other
Guard the food!
Assist with appropriate table presentation
Assist with clean up. Maintenance will take down the tables. Leftovers are welcome in faculty rooms.
Combined Lower Schools Gatherings

Combined Lower Schools Gatherings occur in December and May and take place immediately after combined concerts in the Concert Hall. They are held in the foyer and follow the same procedure as the MS/US Parents Gatherings

Parent Gatherings Coordinator should plan to personally oversee the combined Parent Gatherings.
