Community Service Advisor: Susan Johnsen N3-V
The purpose of Community Service in Lower Schools is to provide opportunities for Lower Schools students to render meaningful service. All students participate in four service projects each year. Two of these are ongoing throughout the year and two are small service projects. No time outside the school day is required to participate in Community Service activities and all Lower Schools students are encouraged to take part.

The purpose of the Waterford School plays is to apply the principles, concepts, and exercises taught in the theatre classes; to bridge the gap between classwork and performance. We also aim to contribute high quality theatrical productions to the overall experience at the Waterford School. We will work mainly with the great plays and playwrights, classical and modern. Classes IV & V may audition for the Spring Play. Students can expect to spend six weeks working on a given play, rehearsing for two hours after school on weekdays. We do have occasional Saturday rehearsals, as well.
