Introducing My Waterford for Parents

In the interest of fostering clear, timely, and reliable communication between the School and our families in support of your child's education, Waterford is pleased to announce the launch of the My Waterford for Parents web portal. Ultimately, My Waterford will serve as the single resource for virtually all of the information and documents parents will need, replacing the broader array of mailings, calendars, email updates, online announcements, and take-home flyers that currently pass between School and home. Within the simplicity of a single access point, My Waterford will be customizable to provide details specific to your child's current Waterford experience while filtering out less immediately relevant information. Over time, we expect this more comprehensive approach to eliminate some of the clutter and noise that can distract from the substantive process of learning. Once the portal is fully in place, all Waterford families will be expected to use it as their primary source of crucial information about life in the Waterford community. My Waterford provides the following features for Parents:

The Home Page provides quick, one-page access to the most critical and current alerts and news items. Notifications will appear at the top of the page for items that require your action (such as registration for Parent Teacher Conferences). In addition, recent news will be listed along with the current week's Calendar of Events.

View and update your contact information, including mail and email addresses, telephone numbers, and professional information.

Each Friday you will be sent an email summarizing the week's news items specific to your family. For example, as the parent of a Lower Schools student you would receive an email containing All Schools and Lower Schools information from the current week, along with any critical notifications that require your action. As the parent of a Middle or Upper School student you would receive an email containing All Schools and Middle and Upper School information only.

Contact your child(ren)'s teachers by email. View attendance records in Lower Schools and grades and assignments in Middle and Upper Schools.
