The Lower School and the Middle/Upper Schools each have a library with resources and programs appropriate to the ages of the students they serve. The two libraries house an extensive collection of print and non-print materials, on-line resources and the latest computer technology. Our philosophy is to support the curricular needs of the students and faculty in all aspects of their academic work and to foster a love of learning. The libraries are a place where students gather to study, read, research, relax, daydream or rest. The Lower School library is a completely automated 4,000 square foot space completed in 2005. It contains 16,000 volumes, 5 periodicals, and access to on-line databases. The East Library serves the Middle and Upper Schools. The library is completely automated with Internet access. It contains 11,000 volumes, 650 non-print items, 60 periodicals, four newspapers, and on-line databases. |
