The Waterford Funded Scholarship is intended for a student who is enrolling in Class I-X whose family demonstrates complete financial need (see income qualification table). This scholarship recognizes the unique and unusual contributions the student brings to Waterford, such as strong academic accomplishments, character, qualities, and special gifts or talents. The candidate must demonstrate a desire to learn and to develop his or her talents. The student must be ready to study, practice, and achieve in a rigorous academic environment. The applicant’s readiness will be gauged through a review of the student’s academic record, standardized testing, teacher recommendations, personal attributes and interests and talents. Ongoing parental support is essential to the success of Waterford students. |
